MobileFlare is free, and always will be. No ads, no subscriptions, no data collection. If it ever helps someone in a crowd, it has done its job.
MobileFlare exists to help people in emergencies. Putting a paywall in front of a safety tool is something we will never do. The app is free to download, free to use, and will remain that way permanently.
Maintaining MobileFlare does come at a cost however. App Store fees, development hardware, domain costs, email, website hosting, marketing, development time. None of that comes from charging users. If you'd like to help cover those costs, any contribution is genuinely appreciated (and needed). If you are interested in sponsorship opportunities, please get in touch.
Donations are handled through Ko-fi - a simple, no-fuss platform. You can contribute any amount, one-time or monthly. No account required.
